About Us

Floral design and decorating has always been a passion of mine. After owning my first business (Pam’s Country Crafts) for six years, I decided to change my focus from a craft shop to a gift basket business in 1990. Upon opening the business (Forget-Me-Nots), I worked diligently at developing corporate accounts, thus leading to planning their Christmas parties and special events. With both aspects of the business growing rapidly, I found myself having to make a decision, to keep the gift basket business or the event planning business. It was an easy decision because I really loved doing the events; hence Festivities with Flair became a reality. I am living my dream come true!

My husband Wayne has always been actively involved in all my business endeavors. He has always said to me “If you can dream it, I can build it.” He builds all our props and designs many things. We each have more than 20 years experience in event planning and decorating. We attend numerous seminars and educational events to sharpen our creative skills and keep up with the latest trends. With our complimentary talents, we form a dynamic team that can make an event for ten or ten thousand unforgettable and achieve the results you desire.

Festivities with Flair participates in professional wedding and event organizations and is a member of the Burgaw Area Chamber of Commerce and Cape Fear Wedding Association.

We have since planned hundreds of memorable weddings, from spectacular to simple. Festivities with Flair has earned a reputation as the smart choice for anyone wanting to create a magical event.
